2005 Fall Fun Fly October 15, 2005 |
| NEARC held a Fun Fly on October 15, 2005. The weather was pefect and a very large number of spectators were on hand to watch the action. Shane Smith put on an excellent 3D demo, there were a couple of rounds of combat flown, and Mark Townsend and Eddie Oetgen wowed the crowd with their helicopter flights. There were 3 contests. Climb and Glide (won by Shane Smith), Consecutive Loops (Scott Brown), and Cakewalk (Bill Mahan). Scott's "Candy Drop Flights" were a big hit with the kids. Thanks to Keith Kimball at HobbyTown for some great pilot and contest prizes. Thanks to everyone in the club who helped with preparations and at the Fun Fly to make the day such a success. |
