BUD CADY FUN FLY 4-28-07 PAGE ONE |
| Saturday, April 28th was a great day for our annual Bud Cady Fun Fly. The high was 85 with a slight breeze under partly cloudy skies. We had 31 pilots check in with a good showing from our NEARC guys. We also appreciated our guests from Monroe, El Dorado, Winnsboro, and Tallulah. As always we try to advertise and draw as many spectators as possible and the parking lot was full all day. A big thank you to Teresa Brown, Esther Townsend, Robin Brown, Patricia Brown, Linda Alford, Lindsey Cady, and Anna Alford. These wives and daughters cooked and served at our concessions and sold our cash raffle tickets. I have recieved numerous comments about how good the food was. Thanks to all the guys who pitched in to get the field in top notch shape and to those who helped set up and clean up. A very big thank you to Randy who puts in more hours planning and organizing than most of us realize to keep events like this running smoothly and getting better each year. |
