The Northeast Aero RC flying club is an AMA Chartered club flying out of a field located in West Monroe, LA. Spectators and prospective members are welcome. Please feel free to come see our spacious flying site and meet our friendly members.

Join

The membership of NEARC would love to have you join our club regardless of whether you're a veteran pilot or a beginner. In either case feel free to come to Tiger Field and fly (or train) with us several times before deciding if you want to join or not. You must have AMA membership during these trial days. After a few days at the field, if you decide to join, all you need to do is fill out a membership form and pay dues.

NEARC operates club membership on a yearly basis similar to AMA. Dues structure is shown in section IV of our by-laws and can be viewed in the By-Laws link to the left. The following is a brief summary of the dues. Dues are $120/year. If paid by January 31st, whether new or renewing member there is a $30 discount (pay $90). From February 1st to December 31st everyone will pay $120 and no one will be allowed to fly after January 31st until dues are paid. For new members joining after March 31st, their second calender year will be prorated depending on which quarter they join in. This means that even though you may seem to pay more for your first calender year if you pay late in the year, it will equal out in the second calender year. There is no initial fee to join NEARC.
