FALL FUN FLY WITH BIG BIRDS SEPTEMBER 20TH 2008 |

Our Fall Fun Fly will be held Saturday, September 20th from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. $10.00 Pilot Fee : AMA required. The first 15 minutes of each hour will be for big birds only. No charge for spectators, concessions available. See the directions link above for driving directions to Tiger Field. |

ROTC Leadership School 6-18-08 |

| For the third year in a row NEARC was asked to present an RC presentation to the 260+ cadets at the ROTC Leadership School at LA Tech University. Ellis Alford, James McPherson, Terry Cady, Chuck Koehler, Tim and Bryce Faircloth, and Randy and Scott Brown brought a wide variety of planes to display and James, Chuck, Terry and Tim impressed the cadets with flying exhibitions. It was nice to see Col. Bob Mims who is a former NEARC member now teaching ROTC in Mississippi. Thanks to Randy for taking these pictures. | |

BUD CADY 2008 |

| Our Bud Cady Fun Fly was held Saturday, April 26th 2008 from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. Despite the chilly windy conditions we had a good turnout. Thanks to all who worked to put this event on. Special thanks to Linda Alford, Patricia Brown, Teresa Brown, and Robin Brown for taking care of concessions. We also appreciate Duane Long for entertaining and amazing us with his 3D exhibition. | |
